Job Description

We are looking for a Social Media Assistant to support our team in running all elements of the brands social media and to assist the team in building the brand and increasing sales and profit.

The Social Media Assistant will contribute with our marketing strategy and manage associated budget. The successful candidate will drive customer engagement and revenue through identification and delivery of insight driven, inspiring and innovative content and advertising campaigns. The role will also include some an element of design content for stories, feeds and other social media platforms.

We are looking for somebody with a real passion for social media, up to date on all the trends associated with social media and passionate about crafting the best content for the different platforms.

You will need to be proactive and innovative with ideas, brilliant at working up an awesome IG caption and keen to make your mark on a brand’s progress through social media.

You will also be required to help-out in other areas of the business as a small team in a busy office being flexible and committed to work it is paramount.

 

Knowledge & Experience

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Create and manage the social media strategy to grow sales, traffic to our clients website and engagement, whilst driving a consistent brand message
  • Manage all existing social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn) plus introduce new platforms in line with team and business objectives
  • Develop engaging, creative, innovative content for regularly scheduled posts
  • Produce and contribute content to offline projects.
  • Build relationships with followers, journalists, influencers and industry professionals.
  • Work with our Digital Marketing Manager to create targeted, paid advertising campaigns in line with set budgets, focusing on ROI
  • Support team marketing campaigns as part of a wider multi-channel approach
  • Produce video content & images specifically designed for our social media channels
  • Work alongside the team create a strong content schedule
  • Manage timely responses to audience comments either directly or through our customer service team
  • Review and manage social media partnerships with suppliers
  • Plan, organise and execute the Influencer strategy and activity in order to drive brand awareness and community growth
  • Build and maintain relationships with Influencers and agency partners, overseeing and coordinating delivery, content creation, gifting and payments
  • Regularly research and analyse social media trends to incorporate into your own activity

 

Bonuses but not essential

  • You know how to use the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator tools.
  • You have experience of working with CRM, CMS and other digital marketing systems
  • You have previously worked in a start-up environment.
  • You have previous experience working with video and editing skills
  • You have a Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in Social Media/Marketing/Design or a related field.

Above all we need someone who is eager and shows passion for our growing brand and business and being a Social Media/ Design Assistant.

Salary: £16,500 to £25,000 per year depending on experience
